8.25 (good) Really enjoyed the setting and the characters. The story was a bit unbalanced, but with more time it would have been truly enjoyable. Some of the characters just didn't have enough screentime to get to know them well enough.

9.50 (excellent) Every episode spends it's time meaningfully by developing the characters or revealing a little bit more about what happened to Menma on that fateful day. The story is very touching and wonderfully told and the music fits the series perfectly (especially the ending).

8.25 (good) I really like the characters and the soothing setting. Unfortunately, the cats and the unrealistic "cutesy" emotional expressions detract from the show. However, season 3 (The Origination) was very charming and emotionally powerful.

8.75 (very good) This was the show that got me to start really watching anime. It's a bit unfair that all three seasons are lumped together, which makes the scoring difficult, because it started out all right, but then each season got progressively better. The first two seasons suffered from some pacing issues (especially the entire episode talking about battle strategy and politics in BotS 1), but by the last season, all of that was improved upon, creating a truly enjoyable story. The characters all have their own personalities and depth, and it really is the characters that make this show into a classic.

My-HiME

7.25 (above average) My-Hime swings wildly all over the place. Sometimes there is a huge amount of excessive fanservice and a happy-cheery atmosphere, and then suddenly everything turns dark and dramatic. The plot and main characters are at their best in these darker moments, but the beach scenes and drinking games drag the series down. Despite this, the show has an amazing soundtrack.

9.00 (very good) This is my favorite fantasy anime. The setting is imaginative, and I enjoyed watching the plight of the main characters. The pacing is pretty solid too, it felt like there were just enough episodes to fully develop and wrap up the plot.
